re: #369 Lidane

I’ve been meaning to read that for ages, but it’s going to have to wait. I’ve been slogging through all the A Song of Ice and Fire books so that I can finally binge my way through Game of Thrones from start to finish when HBO Now goes live. I’ve been stuck on the third book for a while now.

I started reading the first book, and couldn’t get past the first 100 or so pages, but the TV series really grabbed me. I may go back and read the books now that I have a general idea of the plot’s movement.

I’ve never read George R. R. Martin till the GoT books, but I’ve learned since that he tends to write long.
