I’m just curious as to why it’s happening.

I think it’s happening in part because for some people, it’s difficult to be critical of people they’re attached to. This extends to loved one, friends, and even political personas.

If you had told me 5 years ago I would be pissed off at Rush- I would not have believed you. But fine tuning my critical thinking skills here at LGF has made a difference. Nothing anyone said here made me see Rush in a different light. It was all stuff he said during the election season that made me go- huh? For some- it’s just too traumatic to do this. This is why people stay in abusive relationships, go along with the crowd… It’s hard to turn a critical eye on those we love/admire.
