VW is making some electric car advancements. They just set an new record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in both electric vehicle class and overall.

This race car is badass…and you can be sure a pure electric car is coming. How could the world’s largest auto manufacturer not get in this market?

After the accelertion achieved by Tesla, I would definitely expect racing cars to pick it up.
