From what I’ve understood so far… the Joplin tornado came with zero warning.

If only 89 people have died in that maelstrom, it is a miracle.

Was it just that sudden, or do they not have the advanced detection and early warning systems that we have here in the upper Midwest? Either way, it’s terrifying how with all our powerful technology, we are still at Mother Nature’s mercy.
