Daniels is just wrong.

For example, consider the sons of Noah. The story includes one of them being cursed. That story has been used over and over as a reason why a certain race has had such ills.

Same thing with slavery, and the validity of it per the Bible.

And so on and so on.

Some public figure really ought to take on these issues. Unfortunately most Republican politicians are deluded or sold out to their base, and too many Democrats are craven.

The whole reason for the existence of the Southern Baptist denomination is that the Baptist Church schismed in 1845 over slavery. The northern baptists became abolitionists, and the southern baptists just couldn’t stand that.
