You’d think that someone would be able to put together a map with firearms deaths (and separately firearm homicides) on a per capita and raw number basis by county or smaller geographical unit than state. But so far, I haven’t come across that kind of map.

There’s a few maps that look at major metro areas, but that leaves out data from the rest of the country. The FBI data sources can give some inkling as to what’s going on, so it’s not like someone couldn’t put that kind of map together.

What you suggest would involve doing actual work and research, neither of which the #TGDN is interested in or capable of doing.
