Bieber and the rest are a product of the disney-fication of music as a whole. It’s one of the reasons I despise most of what is on the radio now-a-days. It started with boy bands in the 90’s an continues now. It’s funny but also sad in a way. I mean, yeah, metal was kind of the same during the 80’s but at least there was some originality in the songs and sound. Plus many of the metal bands wrote their own songs and all of them knew how to play instruments.
