Good Morning LGF.
The just-released $2,700 Tata Nano mini-sedan will apparently be the world’s cheapest car. It will be powered by a 33hp engine with a top speed of 65 mph.

Other manufacturers are apparently preparing to unleash a whole bunch of ultra-cheap basic vehicles, most for less than $10,000.

They all will have one thing in common - none will be built in North America.

Unless domestic auto workers are willing to work for a fraction of what they currently make, is there any real alternative to erecting trade barriers if we in North America hope to continue to build cars here? Assuming we are not willing to surrender our first world way of life without a fight, we may have no choice.
