To even begin arguing that Chuck Schumer is anti-Israel is asinine. His record on Israel support is unparalleled. He’s been a strong supporter of Israel ever since entering Congress way back in 1981. He wouldn’t have gotten the support he did from his constituents in NYC is he wasn’t.

He’s also a member of AIPAC, so if he’s anti-Israel, what exactly does that make AIPAC?

This is just another attempt to throw stuff up on the wall to see if it sticks.

And a reminder - that if a GOPer had nominated Hagel, these same people would be touting his comments about Israel as a streak of independence and that he’s a free thinker on defense matters - not as anti-Israel.
