Sounds like my vegetarian brother after a week of field work. He says that about then the goal is a hot shower and a bacon cheeseburger.

He also said that the definition of hell is trying to find a diner/restaurant in rural central Kentucky that served food two 19-year-old vegan women would eat. (This was while doing field work as well.)

Taught several soda jerks in small KY towns to make egg creams. I wanted to be the Johnny Appleseed of the 2-cent Plain. Leitchfield, LaRue County soda fountain was the most adept.
