There was an interesting science documentary a few months ago, on how domestic honeybees are dying off not because of a disease or parasite as originally thought, but because they are just getting worked to exhaustion.

They often have to work two or even three jobs at a time just to make ends meet these days. And don’t even mention their pension plans.
