I don’t think that many of them still love him even with his baseball heroics. Remember, right after the world series in 2004, he headed from New Hampshire to stump for Bush, and has been running his asshole mouth ever since. I think most in Mass., though sorry for their RI neighbors, are glad he stiffed RI instead of Mass. with his brilliant video game scheme.
