My wife follows a Long Island pet adoption service on Facebook. One day she sent me a Skype message saying there was the cutest puppy on their page. Then another, and another.

I took the hint and drove out to Middle Island, and by the time she got home from work that day, there was a cute puppy waiting for her.

Three years on, and that cute little puppy has turned into this lug somehow.

Phone call from Wife a few years ago:
“We just came down to the pet supply store to see the Rescue puppies who are visiting. There’s a cute fluffy puppy just like Chloe was.”

That was 85 lbs ago.
