If it weren’t for manifest destiny, a map of North America would look a lot more like maps of other continents with well more than 3 nations on the mainland

If I lived in a nation a third of the size I live in now, but people had access to a doctor regardless of their employment status, I could deal with that.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but the modern translation of “manifest destiny” is “God wants us to take over this entire continent, so he’s gonna look the other way at the genocide we’re committing.”
