I’ve never seen a difference between the personal and political among evangelicals, at least in my experience. I don’t see how there could be a difference between them.

The only difference is if the evangelical openly endorses a candidate, bye bye tax exemption. I remember in 2004, right before the election, a church leader telling his flock something along the lines of “You all know who to vote for on Tuesday.” He got some heat for that.
