You bet that’s what drove the selection. The IOC is corrupt from top to bottom. Rio put up $14.4 billion for it’s bid; Chicago ponied up a mere $4.8 billion - hardly enough to cover dinner and whores for the IOC committee members.

Instead of faux outrage and delight over 0bama’s “loss,” it would be worthwhile for the New Media to spend some of it’s time looking into IOC dirt and slime. There’s a treasure trove of pus oozing out of the IOC, just waiting to be sponged up.

Why would the media cover that and risk accreditation for their reporters at the Olympics?
