I just hope that the new crop of GOP folks does not resemble the current GOP leadership, probably a somewhat forlorn hope.

First, do you realize how big gop gains were in 1994? How much bigger than 54 House seats and 8 Sen. seats do you envision? There’s not a Republican or teabagger alive who wouldn’t be happy with those numbers.

Second, the new crop of gopers will be worse. Have you paid attention? Sharron Angle, Rand Paul and a whole host of others talking about revolution and returning to the days of the founders. The pragmatists, like UT’s Bennett, are being replaced by wingnuts.
