It’s just another item that the prosecutor will have fun with if this ever goes to trial. They now have the cops involved in a lie of omission, failing to note a stop that only became known to investigators when they got ahold of camera footage from a third party. Any testimony that the cops involved gave where they failed to mention the stop is now suspect.
