Everyone above keep saying Ghengis Khan didn’t conquer Afghanistan, he controlled the majority of the country, including all its major cities at the time. The Mongolian control continued through his son and some of the ethnic groups consider themselves to be descendants.

Another reason Ghengis Khan is underrated in the West. The greatest conqueror in history was the only one who could tame the Afghans.
