I read (in Harper’s I think it was) that the longest Iraq went between 1991 and 2002 without a US strike on a target in that country was six days. Six days. The No-Fly Zone ring a bell? By the time we invaded in 2003, the only planes Iraq had were buried in the sand (and discovered after the invasion).
