How can this be stoking Islamophobia? There have been 98 terrorist murders by non-Muslims in the same time this guy killed two. We know this because only two percent of terrorism in Europe is Islamic terrorism.

The other 98 murders, by Breivik types no doubt, are much more serious and the European public is much more worried about them than about the small, really insignificant, fraction represented by this story.

I haven’t seen news accounts of those other 98, but I know they must have occurred, because I was roundly corrected when I disputed the notion that the fraction of terrorism in Europe due to Muslims was as low as two percent.
