Happy mother’s day, Charles! Yes, the Bennet flounce is going to have some repercussions. Let’s hope the good people of Utah decide that moving further right isn’t a great idea and that they throw that seat over to the blue-dog moderate (let’s face it, the progressive democrat doesn’t have a prayer in the runoff primary)…otherwise, the Senate’s sergeant at arms will be busy the next six years saying, “Sit the fuck down, asshole. That’s not how we do things in the Senate.”

I’d rather Bennet ran as an independent, with the RNC funding him as a object lesson to the teabaggers: “You have the grassroots, but we’ve got the money. Be reasonable.”
