The McCarthy people fell when they over reached.

This could become a blessing in disguise. Assuming that the Dems get their asses in gear, the absolute best thing for America would be if the GOP ran Palin. Legions of Beck viewers would support her for certain, but a presidential nominee can’t dodge the press like teabots can in local or state elections.

America is simply not going to go for her BS - assuming of course that the Dems mount a strong counter attack that exposes Palin in all of her Palin goodness.

On the flip side though it is playing with fire because all too many of the Dems have demonstrated that they are committed invertebrates. If Palin gets the entire support of the Fox/Rush/Blogsphere media bubble and the Dems don’t fight hard. She might win.

There is nothing more terrifying to me than the idea of her in the White house. At that point this nation will have become a dangerous joke.
