But China does have some issues. They are poisoning their land, and growing at too quickly a rate. They cannot keep up this growth rate. In addition, the minorities are restive. Every year for 3-4 years, on minority group has gone into riot mode.

And that doesn’t even count the fact that many of their military pieces of hardware are imitations, and poor ones at that.

But we must be vigilant, and begin to change our strategy militarily.

Your mistaking what I said, I was being sarcastic by mouthing the same propaganda they used in 1939 to explain why we did not have to worry about the Japanese, wrong!

I do agree that we need to worry about China, at least enough to keep a serious eye on their military anyway. Not that I actually think they have any serious plans to “expand their territory” in the very near future. As you already mentioned they need to deal with the changes at home and consolidate their power before looking outward too seriously.
