This guy does an enormous disservice to everyone. He’s confirming the prejudices of the uninformed, and inciting them to dumb and dangerous conclusions. He’s also making it much harder to have an informed discussion about actual dangers from Islamic extremism, and how it impacts the world today, because after a while the people who aren’t in his target audience figure that if you use the word ‘jihadi’, you’re nuts.

A self-promoting pain in the ass is what he is.
