This isn’t about the NRA; The NRA would agree this man should not be allowed to own a gun. The problem was a screw up at the state level, not a ‘loophole in the law’. Records keeping work that needed to be done to add this man into the NICS as a prohibited person wasn’t done. That’s not a fault of the law, that’s a fault in the implementation of the law.

You do realize that the NRA has come out against beefing up implementation of the law, right?
