CAIR is also trying to get Brian Sussman, a San Francisco radio talkshow host, shut down for doing a humor bit about Islam:

The pair, during the Monday program, did a comedic segment about Islam and its tenets, and joked that “Islamic finance is about living within your means and helping the needy — unless they’re Jews,” the blog reported. Additionally, they observed that “the great honorable qualities of that good old time religion: honor killings, female circumcision, not allowing women to drive … Jews are monkeys, pigs.”

CAIR rebutted them by citing the Quran:

Hooper cited the Quran, the holy book of Islam: “Those who believe (in the Quran), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), the Sabians, and the Christians — any who believe in God and the Last Day and work righteousness — on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Quran, 5:69)

No mention of the dhimmi status of the “people of the book,” naturally.

As mentioned ad infinitum here, one can mock Christians all day long, but make fun of Islam — and here comes CAIR.
