So Conyers is done.
Franken is all-but-done.
As it should be at this point.
When will similar be asked of GOP pols? Or will this remain a #IOKIYAR issue as it always seems to be?
Who am I kidding, Trump is still president, of course it remains #IOKIYAR— Citizen K Sez “Ban Nazis!” (@Citizen_Kryptik) December 6, 2017
None that will be spoken explicitly. GOP has learned the lesson that denial can win the day, long as they deflect, project, and DARVO ad infinitum

And for their trouble, the media has insinuated that the Dems are coddling sexual abusive men…meanwhile, the RNC just renewed support for Moore, whose campaign is calling his victims “criminals”
Good faith and $4 bucks will get you a latte these days.— Citizen K Sez “Ban Nazis!” (@Citizen_Kryptik) December 6, 2017
Franken should resign. That much is undeniable at this point.
So when is the same going to be asked of literally every GOP pol with the same brand of scandal? When is Dem calls for contrition, conciliation, and actual consequence not going to be treated as proof of party-wide guilt, while persistent DARVO means inoculation of blame for the GOP? When is the standard going to prevent Moores rather than protect them?
Yes, I know the answer is probably ‘never’. But it’s a fucking question that needs to be asked of the media at this point, because fuck all.
