I was annoyed at the whole Afghanistan situation and I posted without thinking.

I’m not a fan of killing, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to bring things to a close in such a way as to note invite future terrorist attacks. I was trying to think of a way to deter terrorism, but I think I went over the line in so doing.

Next time we intend to invade a country we need to f***ing invade it like we did with Germany and Japan.

If we’re going to do “nation building” we should do it from the ground up, and keep the country as an occupied region for around a decade with us running things from the top down.

I think we handed over power to the locals too soon in Afghanistan, and possibly in Iraq also in regards to creating the most effective government possible.
