Better, stagger the appointments. My boys are 6 months apart in their yearly vet visits, though it’s so tough to get out the door with just one that the other usually goes along for the ride anyway. At least I can spread the cost out that way.

The last visit for my spaniel, last week, I did leave Buddy behind because I didn’t know if my spaniel would be coming back home. I thought there was a good chance he would be crossing the bridge since he’s been so unwell and had not been responding to treatment. Good news is that he has responded to the latest treatment (palliative care mode) - not great, but definitely improved - so we still have a bit of time left with him. *sniff*
