Hah! They actually installed a nuke reactor on a B-36 back in the fifties to investigate if electric engines, powered by an airborne reactor, was viable (the engines were never installed and the project came to nothing). All of the crew had to wear lead underwear (joke) and the plane and the reactor were buried in Hansford.
