Way late, but there is a version in the can that didn’t make it onto Deja Vu — it turned up in the CSN box set. Crosby’s vocal on the alternate take is utterly unhinged, gloriously over the top. (And that box also has a different, more drunken, yet incredibly amazing take of Stills’ “Black Queen” that’s an absolute killer….)
