I love when people who consider themselves Paragons of Americanism are the first to agitate for secession.

The funny thing is they are petitioning the whitehouse.gov action request site “We the People.” It has no legal standing and no requirement that Obama do anything no matter how many signatures a petition gets online. These secession petitions being submitted there is like calling the “Mayors Hotline” and asking for your house be removed from the city property tax rolls instead of just requesting for a pothole to be filled. Not that Obama even has any type of legal authority to grant states secession even if he did want to.

The entire thing is nothing but a stupid PR stunt meant to be a “scary message” to those damn meddling socialist liberals. Guess what wingnuts?
