Except for your local affiliate for ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and FOX, ALL channels on your cable companies lineup are “satellite channels” (also excluding “local access TV”). If you live out in the sticks and the nearest “major market” is hundreds of miles away, you cable co. may be picking them up via satellite also, as an added source for your small town network affiliate
