If the world survived the collapse of the Communist Bloc, it would survive a collapse of China. The countries around it will help pick up the pieces, especially in the case of Tibet and Uyghurstan.

Supply issues with Metals (rare earth and otherwise) will become less (if my memory is correct), as Tibet will be independent. And Uranium gets a bit cheaper, as Uyghurstan is also independent.

China is far more integrated into the world’s economy than the USSR ever was, so I disagree with your assessment.
