Well crap. First world etc etc. Just got a call from the wife, and the heat wave has literally decimated the orchid collections. All blooms and flowers cooked, and a lot of leaves look burned. It may have hit over 130 in there with the outside at 117. I’m sure gardens all over the southland are hard hit. Poor lady is in tears.
