The only edict science and scientists can put out about reality is “here is what we currently understand, subject to the results of the next experiment or discovery.”

That’s exactly what I’m saying. There are certainly people who don’t see it that way though.

There always needs to be skepticism in interpreting data/conclusions, science is a product of human thought, and humans are far from infallible.
