If Michael saw Wilson draw his gun, that could explain why he started running away. Johnson said the gun went off in Wilson’s vehicle. If it did not hit Michael (per autopsy) or Wilson (per video showing him walking and pacing after the shooting seemingly unharmed), what happened to that bullet? Or was Johnson mistaken because everything happened so fast? Whether the gun went off or not, I think Wilson at least started to pull it out and that’s why Michael started running. It’s an intuitively logical, plausible explanation to me.

The police also said that the first shot was fired inside the car, they said there was “evidence of that shot” inside the car. Translation: the bullet struck the inside of the car somewhere…
