I tarvel for buskiness ofetn. I was just in Boston where I was born, raised and lived for most of the 1st 45 years of my life) I was in Roxbury on Friday. I heard it there. I live in Atlanta now and last week before I went to Boston I was just outside of downtown Atlanta at Turner Field doing some work. The surrounding neighborhoods are mostly AA. I’ve heard it there. Last month I was in Raliegh NC. I’ve heard it there.I could continue.
I hate hearing it. But it’s there!
Maybe Baltimore is “post racial”? I don’t know, I just thought the country might be past this, what with Obama being president, but I guess not. It seems that his presidency has really made that racist dog whistle so much louder. I’m still hoping something good will come out of the Gates/Crowley affair.
