It’s okay for someone not to understand the nature our relationship with China and Taiwan. It’s not okay however to act like Trump did a normal thing here and it’s certainly not right to repeat the lie that he was just accepting a congraulatory call from President Tsai Ing-wen. Fortunately, it does look like cooler heads will prevail because I think the Obama administration pretty much reassured Beijing that Trump is a dumbass who doesn’t know any ebtter.
