Tariq Ramadan Tries Again

You know, the thought occurs to me that Mr. Ramadan is a bit like certain plants. If you plant them, you can never get rid of them afterward. You will be dealing with the after-effects of having allowed this plant to take root.

For example, I have been trying to get rid of some mint for about six years now. Unlike Mr. Ramadan, mint can be useful, but it took over. Clover and crab grass also come to mind. (I just spent some quality time with the clover in the back yard.)

It isn’t as much Mr. Ramadan, as the runners he will spread out, the ideas that will take root in vulnerable minds, the “study groups” of certain types of young men, which will bring trouble on the US for years to come.
