I think the only Islamic country in the poll is Turkey which comes in last place. We are second to last last.

And I imagine Turkey’s on the list because they have a school system equivalent to those in the West.

The shanda is that as rich and educated as we are in the States, we should go on choosing ignorance with such glee. A bunch of goatherds in Yemen have an excuse. We’re just acting dumb.
