I would normally dismiss it as ludicrous satire - but this IS the Trump Era, so never mind - but I wouldn’t put it past The Orange Anus to at least think about doing a “swap-out” of the VP nominee as a sort of made-for-TV “spectacular” at whatever is left of the RNC: i.e., ostentatiously “firing” Mike Pence right at the start of the Convention, and then milking the “drama” of naming a new nom for “Ratings Gold!!” for days, which he might probably imagine will boost his flagging campaign.
