I was exploring one of the many objections to the mosque, namely its allegedly obtrusive size. I thought it would be interesting and useful to have information on its relative size to other community centres.

You say “allegedly obtrusive size.” First off, it is an existing building. I don’t remember anyone complaining about the allegedly obtrusive size of the Burlington Coat Factory HQ in the past.

And what in New York City is not obtrusive size-wise? Have you ever been to NYC. Fourteen stories is small, like 7-11 small in comparison. Even small in NYC is an obtrusive size.
