So if I spend over $600 in printing from a particular print shop I’m going to need to have a 1099 filed?

I’m pretty sure you’re already required to report the purchase. The only difference with the new law is that you’ll need the printer’s tax ID #. It doesn’t look like they’re going to keep that provision anyways so I wouldn’t sweat it.
