US and UK suspend non-lethal aid for Syria rebels
Although it was never officially announced I suspect stopping aid to rebel groups was probably part of the chemical weapons and Iran nuclear deals. Maybe rebel groups were too problematic anyways but I can’t say I’m happy about Assad’s new lease on life.
