I think the Parkland kids have had some positive actions and effects on some of the gun humpers they’ve met as they travel around the country. This is a good thing. I also think that these young adults are not going to waste a lot of energy on the hardcore parade of idiots. The right wing media made them out to be monsters and crisis actors, seeing them in person and interacting with them may change the hearts of those less invested in guns being their sole identity.

I give people a chance, if they persist in being mean and stupid, it makes my job of walking away much easier. The stupid among us are going to get left behind because the rest of us are learning we’re going to have to push past them and keep going.
