Yeah. I had some stupid tech the first time I called so I called a friend of the wife who did a check for me. They keep track of everything btw, he knew how many times I had dropped connection going back at least a month. It didn’t seem like the modem would be the issue to me but he thought otherwise. Looks like we were both sorta right.

Did they supply the odem?

If so, go get one at Radio Shack or Wal Mart or wherever , try it out, and if it works tell ComCast that you need a new “free” one and return the one you bought
