re: #354 Charles

I must be missing something. Is there something wrong with calling it an “extreme” position to reject the authority of the federal government? Are we supposed to be anarchists now?

In the context Rightwing extremism,
“the report defines in a footnote on Page 2, goes beyond religious and racial hate groups and extends to “those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely.

the former is the State’s Rights groups. Some who have been around since the 70s when national speed limit was set at 55. The latter are groups similar to the Anarchists who hang out with WCW, Code Pink, etc. The Anarchists are not right wing. Extreme right wing is fascism. Which is basically the same as Extreme left wing Communism. State Rules all aspects of your live. Nobody can be an anarchist and communist/fascist by themselves.
There are differences between fascism and communism but for our purposes, both are effectively ‘state rule’
