Well first, one has define “cut” in terms of fiscal responsibility. Would you agree that social spending, if it can be made more efficient and stream-lined, can see its budget “cut” and still maintain the same level of service?

The firm I work for sponsors an innercity school for new immigrant parents and kids. We do parties for the kids, school supply drives, that kind of thing.

Anyway, the school director has had trouble with funding through these last two Rep administrations. She exists because of grants and private donations.
